On 1/12/2010 I had a valve in my heart replaced.  It was done at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston.  Spent two weeks in the hospital.  I am now doing great.  I can't drive for six weeks so I have to catch a ride everywhere I want to go.

I will be checking in St Luke's in Houston  on January 11, 2010.  My surgery will be the next day on the 12th.  Dr. Ott  will be be my surgeon.  He will be replacing a valve or valves with pig or cow tissue.  I was told in 2005 that this would happen.  The Carcinoid somehow creates liaisons around the valves of the heart.
